Fashion Meets Fitness Event 2024

When I arrived in my pink Oner Active leggings, I wasn’t trying to prove a point or reach a certain “standard.” I wasn’t aiming to match the polished presence of someone who’s been on national television (Love Island) or who already has hundreds of thousands of followers. Truth is, I’ve never been on TV. I don’t have a massive platform. But I do have something that matters just as much; my own story, my own voice, and my own lane.
I assessed the behaviours and contacted my team and we said we would deal with it correctly.
As time went on and the behaviour persisted I realised that criticism often says more about the other person than it does about me. When someone who already has visibility, followers, or a big brand lashes out, it can come from frustration or uncertainty in their own path. And once I understood that, I stopped making it about me.
Instead, I shifted my focus back to my mission. I am not here to copy or compete, I’m here to create. Everything I build is from authenticity and purpose.
That’s when my inner voice left me! See below..

Because the truth is, confidence isn’t about proving you’re better, it’s about knowing you’re enough. And as I grow into this next chapter, especially with fashion, makeup and clothing, I hope to inspire others to release their own inner critic, too!
